Metamation allows full access to information from a variety of locations, whether at a desk, working from home, or in a mobile environment.
Users can be connected to the system either internally or via the internet using a secure log-in process.
To provide rapid access to information, Metamation offers a number of search and display options.
Dash board display
This is the main home page of the system and has separate areas of the screen for each type of document or data. Each of these areas can be drilled into to show documents owned by the user, those being worked on, documents they have access to and those which require review or approval.
Dash board search
This allows the user to search for documents on the dash board page by title, using keywords or phrases.
Full search
Acting like a search engine, Metamation allows the user to search all items content according to key word or phrase.
All relevant documents are then displayed in a ranked list with the most likely items at the top of the list. This search is fast and efficient, making the windows “search” tool a thing of the past.
Specific search
A specific search allows the user to filter search options by a variety of search criteria such as creation date, author, information type and status.
Watched items
Once located, items can be marked to be watched by the user. Metamation will then automatically notify the user if changes are made such as new versions being submitted or approved or data being changed.
